Shell: Neritoid (the species name indicates this already).
The shell of this snail is quite heavy and thick.
Colour: olive green.
Operculum: corneous
Body: Dark.

Eggs: Aquatic eggs in gelatineous clutches.


 


Habitat:
Lives in streaming, oxigen rich water (hence to absense of a breathing siphon).
Distribution:
Rio Uruguai, departamento de Paysandú, Uruguai
